Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager
- Location: Remote
- Pay: $70,000–$90,000 per year
- Benefits: Flexible schedule, professional development opportunities, and remote work options
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, education, sociology, or a related field (Preferred)
- License/Certification: None required, but certifications in DEI practices or leadership development are a plus.
Responsibilities
As a Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in tech and science.
- Develop mentorship programs and workshops that empower women and minorities to succeed in STEM.
- Coordinate with partner organizations to expand outreach and build impactful collaborations.
- Facilitate training sessions for leaders and teams on fostering inclusive work environments.
- Monitor program performance, gather feedback, and make data-driven improvements.
- Plan and execute events, including conferences, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
- Create engaging content and materials to support diversity initiatives.
- Ensure all programs align with organizational goals and promote lasting impact.
Skills

- Proven experience in program management, ideally with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Strong understanding of DEI principles and practices in professional or academic environments.

Communications and Marketing Specialist
- Location: Remote
- Pay: $50,000–$65,000 per year

Responsibilities
As a Communications and Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to amplify Sofia Rios’ mission and programs.
- Create compelling content for blogs, newsletters, press releases, and social media platforms.
- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and tracking engagement metrics.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns for events, workshops, and new resources.
- Collaborate with designers and videographers to produce high-quality marketing materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to increase visibility.
- Analyze marketing data to optimize strategies and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with the organization’s voice and values.
Skills
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and content management systems.
- Creative thinking and storytelling abilities to craft impactful campaigns.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Administrative Coordinator
- Location: Remote

Responsibilities
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to support Sofia Rios’ events and programs.
- Handle scheduling for meetings, workshops, and speaking engagements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for client and partner inquiries.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, including technology setup and attendee communication.
- Organize and maintain files, contracts, and program materials.
- Monitor budgets, process invoices, and handle expense reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents.
- Ensure smooth communication between team members and external stakeholders.
Skills
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a nonprofit or event-driven organization.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello).
