Responsibilities

Communications and Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

As a Communications and Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to amplify Sofia Rios’ mission and programs.
  • Create compelling content for blogs, newsletters, press releases, and social media platforms.
  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and tracking engagement metrics.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns for events, workshops, and new resources.
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to increase visibility.
  • Analyze marketing data to optimize strategies and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with the organization’s voice and values.

Skills

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.

Administrative Coordinator
